Meet the Author

The author of The Lavender Trilogy, Earl Watson, started writing in high school. His narrative is so descriptive that the open pages will allow the reader to visualize the action, allowing them to be captivated by the characters. Within the pages of his novel, you'll know Marcus and Amanda like they're old friends, and intensely fear the actions of the stern Worldwide Vision Industries.

Other Works

Because of his knowledge in historical subjects, Earl has worked on history books in addition to the romance genre. Earl found his voice for romance when he wrote Valentine's Day poems and short stories for women at the courthouse where he used to work.

Stressing Romance

He seeks to offer more romance than sex in his novel, which is usually the opposite in many books in today's market. Earl feels that for a compelling romance novel, an author doesn't need to be raunchy, but instead can provide the right context to give the reader what they want.

Creating a Literary World

Earl enjoys creating believable, tangible characters that become ingrained in your consciousness. Over the years, he has evolved as a writer to be more succinct and descriptive. It is truly powerful to have the ability to put pen to paper to create a literary world filled with interesting people and exciting storylines to keep the reader thoroughly engrossed, engaged, and entertained.
