About Earl Watson
The idea for The Lavender Trilogy came to Earl Watson while visiting a library. He happened to sit down in the romance section, picked up a random book, and was shocked to see the graphic images on the cover and its inappropriate title. Outraged, he lodged a complaint with the librarian who informed him that books could not be censored in a public library.
After going home, Earl asked his wife why a woman would want to read this type of novel. She suggested that since he was a writer, he should create a romance novel that highlights the romance over sexual content. He accepted that challenge.
This is a romantic trilogy without profanity that offers a literary counterbalance to what Earl saw in the library that day. This is a book that showcases the romance in the romance genre, something that is lacking in many contemporary books.
